Great hub layout! Also great picks, I've enjoyed all three. Small syntax errors, but that's no big deal.

Man, I hope the live action Akira movie that's in the works lives up to the Anime.

This is a decent introduction to anime... I think a lot of people my age probably started with Dragon Ball, and a lot of people slightly older probably started with Akira. Though, personally, I'd recommend Spirited Away before Totoro.

Ah, I've heard of these anime before but I haven't seen any of them. Somehow the drawing style doesn't appeal to me, like the characters aren't good-looking. I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks that way... :O

The first anime I ever watched from beginning to end was Rurouni Kenshin a.k.a. Samurai X. I remember falling in love with Aoshi Shinomori and Saito Hajime. ^_^ I would recommend Rurouni Kenshin to those watching anime for the first time as well since people of both gender and all ages like it. :)
